Airport liquid carry-on?

don't know if its still a rule, or if it was a rule, but can you bring liquids with you in your carry-on bag. I'm packing for a trip tomarrow and i was wondering if i could bring my bath and body works just for kids instant hand foam (that smells like gs)? and by the way it is 1.7 oz and about half full, and am talking about at the DIA airport (in denver)
