Why do creationists claim the Earth's magnetic field is evidence the for a young earth?

but when I threw my letter magnets at the fridge the ones that stuck spelled "wqqoeiriiid" and the odds of that happening in exactly that pattern are so low it must be god, magnets pro- oh god, my IQ, it burns!
