My wired internet on my Wii has stopped working. Is there a fix to this?

You probably have the cable terminated improperly. Look at the link below. G ahead and get a couple of rj45 cat 5 jacks and terminate the cable in the jacks. then use standard patch cords to go from the jack to the PC and from the Jack to router on the other end.
