Delayed penalty goal?

If there is a delayed penalty called for cross-checking in front of the goal the player is trying to shoot at and he knocks the goalie over as a result of being pushed, and then gathers the puck and shoots it into the open net without the other team touching up, does the goal count or is it incidental contact and the penalty stands without the goal?
