I installed Divx Codecs for WMP to play Dvix files. But Divx Converter & Player also got installed. Do I need?

Do I just need the Codecs installed for my WMP 11 to play DivX files? Which means I can uninstall the DivX Converter & Player. Or I need the complete packade of DivX bundle.
