My best friends dad has stomach cancer!?

I want to know what the average life expectancy, im a 15 year old male and my bff's dad has stomach cancer, he is around 45-55, hes getting kemo and his stomach removed. how long will he live if the cancer doesnt come back w/out a stomach?
