Best way to feed neon tetras?

Is it okay to feed them just frozen foods(frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and beef heart)? or do I have to give them flakes too. Which is the best route to go? Also, can they eat beef heart? I heard beef heart isn't the best for some fishes.
