Am I wrong not to want to be in these scenes in my friends' haunted house?

Youre being boring and your friends are right. Halloween is supposed to be scary, not the commercialised crap we have all got tired and bored of over the last 20 years. Theyre trying to bring some originality into it like it was before, but youre just being lame.
