ANYBODY who knows about these things? Why does Britney?

Spears have a "star" on her "female area"? Every paparazzi photo I've seen of her lately, getting out of a cab, panty-less, as is her custom, shows a star covering her stuff. What is it? Some kind of space age tattoo? A new-fangled brazilian? An iron-on applique? Some great bedazzler work? (I think Lindsey Lohan gets hers done at the same place!)
