Is Boxing becoming as dead & boring as MMA ?

i think the world is just different. back in the 80's, there were not dozens of different cable channels, and guys were groomed on network tv. i remember watching leonard, hagler, hearns, benitez, holmes, etc on regular television. also, there are way too many alphabet titles out there. people just have many more choices as far as entertainment. mosley-mayweather brings back a little of that "old feeling" for me, especially being able to watch it in a regular movie theater, but you are right, overall it's just not that exciting. for me, mma, for me, peaked with hughes vs gracie, but now it's just boring.
